Special Education Program News

As a result of technology being one targeted area for Hanawalt, the Special Education Program has been using many different technology mediums in their classrooms. Some of the students have access to Smart Boards. Smart Boards basically function as a large interactive computer screen. They take normally independent computer activities and create interactive opportunities for the whole class. This is not only fun for the students but it presents information in a way that accommodates diverse learning needs.
