About 200 parents and kids enjoyed our first-ever Hanawalt Movie Night!
As an added bonus, we brought in $260 of popcorn and water sales during "Kung fu Panda." A huge thanks to Cheryl and Travis Thompson for getting the movie up and going and for helping with our popcorn booth. The movie looked terrific right there on the Commons stage. We had a lot of positive feedback from parents who appreciated a fun family outing on a cold winter's night.
Many kids and adults requested another movie event in the future. Thank you again to everyone for supporting this event!
