Second graders have begun measurement in math. We will be finding the linear and liquid measurements of school and household items.
During springtime, science becomes very exciting in second grade. Our Painted Lady Caterpillars will arrive soon. We will discuss and observe the lifecycle of a butterfly (and other insects) in class. Late in April, after our butterflies have become adults, we will set them free on the Hanawalt playground.
