Music News

Spring has sprung in the music room. We are singing, moving and playing instruments to the sounds of spring. Rain songs, rabbit stories and kite flying poems.

The 3rd, 4th & 5th graders are focusing on music symbols. They are each making a Symbol Book to review and learn many music symbols. We will be playing symbol games and finding them in the songs.

In preparation for the visit of Opera Iowa, on The Day In The Arts (April 3rd), all classes have been studying about George Washington Carver.

Band Note – the spring concert date has been changed to May 19th at 6:00 P.M. in Weitz Commons.
